RAAA for the 8th year participated in the 5K Walk to Believe

RAAA for the EIGHTH year, participated in the Annual 5K Walk to Believe – One Step Closer for Eric LeGrand.

The 8th Annual “Walk to Believe” fundraiser was held on SUNDAY, June 3, 2018 at the High Point Solutions Stadium on Busch Campus. The event was open to both walkers, runners and their pets. With increased visibility, the event attracted variety of new sponsors for the year. A record level of participants who helped raise $113,000 for the event to include $490.00 from Team RAAA! Through the generosity of several RAAA members, we were once again able to a part of the amazing effort as 8 time sponsor for the event!

As an alumni organization, it is imperative that we support our students in all the ways that we can. This event allows us to support both Eric (now a Rutgers alum!) and spinal cord research efforts while engaging the larger Rutgers University community in an impactful way.

A Walk to Believe is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization. The mission of A Walk to Believe is to create awareness and to raise funds for the people suffering from spinal cord injury. All proceeds from donations will be forwarded to organizations involved in the research and treatment of spinal cord injuries. Since its inception, A Walk To Believe/Team Eric LeGrand has donated over $1,000.000 millions towards this cause.

We look forward to you participating in next year’s event. Go Team RAAA!
