Nina Moseley is the Senior Director of the Division of Minority and Women Business Development in the New Jersey Department of Treasury. Under her leadership, the Division issued an annual procurement report of activity across 109+ state agencies. Further, Moseley centralized and introduced a new array of services on the web. These online services provided SMWBEs with real time, dynamic access to information ranging from bid queries to registration/certification. As a result, companies can more effectively compete in the global economy.
Moseleyโs second area of responsibility is registering/certifying all businesses that want to qualify as a Small Business and/or a Minority/Women owned business. These credentials (SBE) are needed to compete under the State Small Business Set Aside Act.
The portfolios headed by Moseley led to her being appointed to spearhead a state wide task force reviewing all of the small business rules and regulations. Major changes emulating from that responsibility resulted in a more business friendly, less red tape environment for SMWBEs.
Most recently, Moseley served as Senior Director of Business Services with the New Jersey Commerce Commission.
Previously, Moseley served as Executive Director of Democracy South, a campaign finance reform nonprofit with offices in eleven states and funded by the Carnegie and Ford Foundations.
Moseley earned her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, holds a professional certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and received her BA in Economics from Rutgers University.
A native of Morristown, NJ, Moseley currently resides in Ewing, NJ. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
