Julius W. Robinson Jr. is an extremely talented and successful executive with nearly three decades of experience in sales, marketing, operations, revenue strategy, and brand management. He brings a wealth of ongoing experience in brand building, consumer pricing, and business transformation to influence his decision making. With experience across multiple business disciplines and global responsibility, Julius’ in-depth knowledge of business operations and consumer trends in both domestic and international markets provide him a global lens from which to lead and direct business strategy. Julius’ Marriott career spans over 25 years where he has held senior leadership roles in brand management, hotel operations, global sales, and revenue management. He has revenue responsibility for approximately $500 million in fee income to the company and manages P&Ls between $50 and $75 million in operations expenses. Julius currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Global Brand Leader for Marriott Hotels, Sheraton Hotels, and Delta hotels; 2 of which are among the largest brands within Marriott International’s powerhouse hotel portfolio. Prior to this, Julius held other responsibilities across brand, franchising, global sales, and revenue management. Mr. Robinson began his career with Marriott as an hourly associate and has worked his way up through the ranks of the organization to senior leadership.
In addition to his storied work career, Julius is very active in his place of worship, and non-profit organizations in his community. Mr. Robinson serves multiple ministries and organizations that he is passionate about. He is also a board member of the Maryland Soccer Foundation dedicated to providing all youth an opportunity to experience and learn the game of soccer (he further serves the board on the finance committee). Julius is highly sought after to provide council on other areas of interest related to brand positioning, marketing, personal growth, and career development. Further, Julius is a devoted husband and father committed to helping the lives of his family and preparing them for future success. He is a proponent of both mental and physical fitness, and believes deeply in the power of a community mindset and servant leadership to reach wildly incredible goals.
