Donita Devance, the Associate Director of University-Community Partnerships at Rutgers-Newark, is a dedicated professional with a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from the Edward W. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. With a robust background in service learning and community outreach, Donita has contributed her expertise to various boards and committees addressing diverse community needs across the state. Her research focus encompasses human capital development, community health assessment, and best practices research, reflecting her commitment to community development. A longstanding member of New Jersey’s Delta Kappa Sigma chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho, Sorority Incorporated, Donita brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role.
